These influencers are trained, created, and marketed by brands or media agencies, for different purposes, with the help of a Computer-generated-imagery model.

And with time, they have grown to more than 150 virtual influencers on social media. (According to Virtual Humans)

They are created with the purpose to identify patterns in user data on platforms, targeting specific demographics like GenZ or millennials, or helping companies make bring better solutions in Social Media Marketing.

In this article, I’m going to show you some highest paid AI/virtual influencers in 2023, that are being used to test platforms, attract audiences and also monetize their presence on the internet.

Let’s start with the most popular and highest-paid one…

Lil Miquela (@lilmiquela)

One of the earliest virtual influencers to be created on social media (11th to be specific), and also the first one to go super viral online.

This is Lil Miquela Sousa (Lil Miquela) an AI influencer created to represent a 19-year-old, global pop star, also one of “TIME Magazine’s 25 Most Influential People on the Internet”.

She is added with the characteristics of a musician, change-seeker, and style visionary.

Created by Brud a platform focused on redefining media influencers to create a completely new way of telling stories.

This company is also creating two other AI influencers which we will be discussing below – @blawko22 and @bermudaisbae.

When we talk about reach, Lil Miquela is at the top, with 2.8 followers, 1263 posts in total, and charging around $8000 per post for sponsorships. (as of May 2023)

She is created by Combo EstĂşdio (Combo Studio) – an animation studio.

She is given the characteristic of a globally-recognized, Brazilian virtual influencer who is not only active on Instagram, with 571K followers and 3291 total posts, but also on YT with a whooping 3.5M subscribers.

She is charging around $3000 ($2800 approx.) per sponsored post on Instagram.

And as you know she also has a YT channel with millions of subscribers, which makes her quite the richest AI Influencer at the moment.

Her parent company must be quite profitable or generate a lot of revenue from this Influencer itself.

She is Noonoouri – a 19-year-old, cartoony digital character and has a character of a fashionista, with a demographic of a German, who is actually working with most of the top brands in the fashion industry.

She is created by Joerg Zuber, founder of the creative agency Opium Effect. And has created it with the goal of providing entertainment.

Noonoouri has managed to influence and attract 402K followers, with 1540 posts on Instagram. She is getting around $2000 per post for sponsored posts.

Imma Gram (@imma.gram)

Imma – The first virtual or AI influencer in Japan, with one of the best most professional, and consistent groups in the AI influencer industry.

You can see that from her super real posts as a model influencer, which shows perfection and quality of work done, to make it feel so human to our eyes.

She is created by Aww Inc. with a curious personality of a fashion influencer and works with many businesses for sponsored posts.

From Feb 2018, she has managed to build an audience of 400K followers with posting 698 posts in total (as of May 2023). She also charges around $2000 per sponsored post and has a good engagement rate (engagement to likes ratio) if 3.55% with her audience.

Quite really great to see these influencers created from computers performing much better than many human influencers on the internet.

Meet Bermuda – one of the most controversial CGI Virtual Influencers on Instagram.

Describes herself as a robot woman, is on a personal mission to inspire entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams in tech.

She also has one of the most real-looking images on Instagram. When we talk about her creator or creators, they have been trying to be anonymous by now.

Let’s see when we are given some info on their creators.

Talking about social reach on Instagram, she has 248K followers with a total of 268 posts (as of May 2023).

She also manages to earn from sponsored posts by charging around $1250 per post which is not a bad sum at all, and better than many humans.

Oh Rozy – is South Korea’s first virtual influencer to be started doing AI influencing in August 2019.

She is created by Sidus Studio-X and is popular because of her so real posts of a toned body and clean and attractive facial features. She keeps posting on a regular basis about her daily life to her followers, just like a normal human, engaging with her comments on posts.

With the consistency of his team, creating such real AI influencer posts (381 in total), Oh Rozy has amassed a total of 154K followers, with an engagement rate of 5% (~4.99%).

She also charges for her sponsored posts, that’s estimated to be $770 per sponsored post, which is not bad at all, and impressive in such a short time.

She has managed to attract 145K followers on Instagram and around 2000 subscribers on her YT channel. She is depicted as quite an alien virtual influencer which makes her quite interesting.

She is estimated to be charging or eligible to charge approximately $633 per sponsored post which is quite a good number for a virtual human online.

Ronnie Blawko or famously known as Blawko is a digital model created by Brud in 2016, founded by Trevor McFedries and Sara DeCou, the same company that created other famous virtual influencers like Lil Miquela.

He is always seen in masks throughout his posts which makes him more mysterious and enigmatic. He plays a character of a model and along with showing his turbulent love life with Lil Miquela.

He has worked with several brands to link other models in this industry. Some of the most famous ones are Off-White, Balenciaga, and Supreme.

Like many other virtual influencers, he also has a YT channel with around 5K subscribers on his channel and also managed to bring 131K people’s attention to him through his Instagram account.

Talking about her following, she has about 239K followers on Instagram with an engagement rate of 2.16%. Her estimated charges per sponsored post are approximately $1,190, which is fantastic.
